Rehab: Cold & Warm Packs

You are here: Home / Physical Rehabilitation / Rehab: Cold & Warm Packs

These videos and handouts will aid you with visuals about the exercises your veterinarian has prescribed for your pet. It is very important to perform all exercises in a controlled and comfortable environment. Physical Rehabilitation is to encourage leg usage by increasing comfort and function while also improving health. If your pet is ever uncomfortable or in pain, please stop the exercise and call your veterinarian for advice.

Physical rehabilitation does not follow the “no pain, no gain” mantra. Also remember therapy sessions should be tailored with frequency, duration, and intensity, depending on your pet’s injury or stage of healing. Only start a rehabilitation protocol after you have consulted with your regular veterinarian or your Board Certified Surgeon.
